It is that time of the year again when college begins. For freshmen and other students alike, it is an exciting period of shopping, right from school essentials to their college looks. Some might even be working hard during the summer break to earn extra money for college.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"So what\u2019s on your list? What all have you purchased and what is left? Especially, if you are going to live away from your home, your list would exceed the space on your sheet. While you try to recall your list, I want to share with you a fact that I read in a <\/span>book on how to maintain eco-friendly household<\/span><\/a>. The book says that for every pound of product created, seven pounds of waste is generated in the manufacturing process. Now, think about all the new products that you have on your \u2018to-buy college list\u2019. Think about how relevant or important they are and how they are actually going to help you and the environment. I am sure you can now strike off some items or find alternatives for others. This does not mean you don\u2019t have to buy anything new. Every product has a life cycle and you have to make your decision based on what is right for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is important that everyone \u2013 the youth especially \u2013 takes charge of making big positive changes in environment, which is why I want to help you take an informed decision.\u00a0Now let us come back to our \u2018to-buy college list\u2019. I think a very important item in your list would be a bag – something to carry your laptop, your books, keys; something that is stylish and spacious; and if you have learned anything from whatever you have read till now, then this bag should be eco-friendly too. Right?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not just a college bag, it is a great gift too. Inspire others to buy eco-friendly products by giving them a present that is a return gift to the nature. And, when you think you are done with one bag, do not throw it away. Consider passing it on to someone else who would need it.<\/span><\/p>\n

So what do you think about this messenger bag? It wouldn\u2019t disappoint you, it will always make you proud of your decision to support the green environment. Remember, by buying something eco-friendly, you don\u2019t just benefit yourself; you also motivate thousands of others who in turn help the environment stay green with little, but significant contributions, like buying a bag just like yours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
