Have you ever been inspired to do something good for the world, or have you\u00a0witnessed\u00a0the suffering of others and wished to help? However, you may be short on time or unsure\u00a0about\u00a0what to do. September 5th is\u00a0International Day of Charity<\/a>, and you may take advantage of it by motivating yourself to get engaged in the community.\u00a0This post\u00a0contains\u00a0some ideas for anyone who wants to make a difference but\u00a0isn’t\u00a0sure where to begin.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Around 9.2 percent of the world’s population\u00a0(around 689 million people)\u00a0live in poverty. Poverty\u00a0is defined\u00a0not only by a lack of money, but also by lack of\u00a0quality of\u00a0life,\u00a0lack of education, and the inability to obtain medical treatment.\u00a0A large proportion\u00a0of individuals in\u202fthis world are living in\u202fmultidimensional poverty.<\/a>\u00a0That\u00a0means, a person’s income may be over the poverty line, but he or she may not have access to clean water or\u00a0proper hygiene, and their family may not have completed the six years of schooling.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0The United Nations General Assembly\u00a0established\u00a0September 5th, the International Day of Charity in 2012. Mother Teresa, a well-known humanitarian,\u00a0passed away on September 5th<\/a>. She dedicated her life to helping others, on her death anniversary, we remind ourselves how our acts of kindness may mean the world to someone else.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

There are several methods for you to give back to your community and the world. Your donations, time, abilities, and minor efforts to help others are the only things that the world needs to be a better place for everyone.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0Here are some ideas on how you may help during the Pandemic and when things finally return\u202fto normal.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Feeding the needy:<\/strong>\u00a0You may help by making meals for those in need. Look for local food banks and inquire about volunteer opportunities. You may support by preparing the meal, packaging the food, or contributing money for the food.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Cleaning the beach: <\/strong>A wonderful way to give back to the world is by cleaning up the\u202fwaste that harms our ecology. You should do it\u00a0on a daily basis, but on this day, do some extra effort\u202fand clean up the trash at the beach or in the forest.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Plant a tree:<\/strong>\u00a0Yes! We will always\u00a0require\u00a0nature for our\u00a0survival; ensure that you are a preserver rather than a butcher of nature. Plant some trees on September 5th, or on your birthday every year. When you link an act with a certain occasion, you will never forget it.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

It would also be fantastic if you start a home garden. Producing your own food is an\u00a0additional\u00a0level of doing good for your health and the health of your family.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Depending on where you live, you might have different ways to plant the tree in the community, so do your research and be physically involved in the process of planting. Make sure you take your kids with you.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

If you are unable to go and plant it yourself, or if it is not possible in your community, you may do so virtually by contributing a dollar or two to the organizations that will plant the tree from your donation.\u00a0One Tree Planted<\/a>\u202fand\u202fPlant A Tree Project<\/a>.\u00a0are two of the\u00a0organizations.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Teaching children:<\/strong>\u00a0Our children are our future<\/a>. We must devote our time and effort to teaching them the good and bad. Involve children in any charitable work you are undertaking. Speak to children about the value of charity, donating their toys, holding the door for others, or simply being polite to everyone.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Inform others:<\/strong>\u00a0If you are unable to contribute your time or money for any reason, you may just spread the word<\/a> and inform people<\/a> about the causes you wish to support. Write a blog article, share a social media message, or inform your family or friends about\u00a0the organizations that are helping\u00a0the community.\u00a0Perhaps your\u00a0words\u00a0inspire someone to donate to a worthy cause.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Green Schools Green Future:<\/strong>\u00a0We are a\u00a0charity-based\u00a0organization and completely\u00a0depending\u00a0on donations and volunteers.\u00a0Our mission is to build sustainable schools with help of green technology, our\u00a0curriculum\u00a0is not\u00a0only\u00a0beneficent\u00a0for\u00a0children\u2019s\u00a0success\u00a0in the innovative\u00a0world,\u00a0but it also\u00a0helps\u00a0our environment.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
