\u2018Twas the season to eat a little bit more than we\u2019d like and that\u2019s ok! It is important to enjoy yourself but be mindful. This Butternut Squash Detox Soup has all the right ingredients to help detox that belly and reset!<\/p>\n

Ingredients:
\n<\/strong>1\/2 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
\n1\/2 white onion, chopped
\n2 cloves garlic, minced
\n2 medium carrots, chopped
\n1 tbsp fresh ginger, chopped
\n2 cups butternut squash, peeled and chopped
\n1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
\n1\/2 tsp turmeric
\n1 tsp thyme
\n1\/4 tsp cinnamon
\n1\/4 tsp black pepper
\nDash of fresh-squeezed lemon<\/p>\n

Directions:
\n<\/strong>In a medium pot, heat the veggie broth over medium-high heat. Saut\u00e9 the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes.\u00a0Add the carrots and ginger. Cook for about 5 minutes.\u00a0Add the butternut squash, salt, turmeric, thyme, cinnamon, and pepper. Mix well and cook another 5 minutes.\u00a0Turn off heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice.\u00a0Using a blender, pure\u00e9 the soup until smooth and creamy. Garnish with thyme and serve immediately!<\/p>\n
